Quinta Milú La Cometa

Quinta Milú is the first of the three projects by talented winemaker Germán Blanco. It is located in the small town of La Aguilera, in the province of Burgos, in the northeast of Spain. The grapes come from old Tempranillo vineyards, cultivated in a traditional way and with respect for the surrounding environment. Germán works plot by plot, almost practicing micro winemaking in small batches, with minimum intervention, favoring gentle extraction that can be described as an infusion. The resulting wines have a rare delicacy and express nuances of the Tempranillo grown at altitudes up to 900 meters above sea level. There are no pre-established protocols; each harvest is unique, each wine is unique – says Germán when asked about the way he works.
