6 wines carefully selected by us and perfect for drinking in the lead up to and over the Christmas period. 

The Reds:

1) Vino Rosso - Mandorli. Tuscana. A blend of Sangiovese + Merlot with juicy blackberry and balsamic notes. Round and smooth. Biodynamic viticulture.

2) Valpolicella Ripasso 'Monte Tabor. A blend of Corvina/Rondinella/Mollinara, it is a rich wine with black berry and ripe cherries, and hints of leather and spice in the background. Fully biodynamic.

3) Lindes de Remelluri las Sanillas - Tempranillo (89%), Graciano (6%) + Granacha (5%), a perfect winter red with notes of black plums, blackberry and earthy undertones. Biodynamically farmed

The Whites:

1) Hervé Villemade 'Cheverny' - A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, sweet citrus and yellow flowers with notes of tomato leaf. Crisp and grassy with a saline creamy mouthful. Organic winery.

2) Bodegas Cerrón 'Remordimiento' Chardonnay - 100% Chardonnay, a full bodied, powerful white wine with a Chablis like chalky minerality and toasty and smoky undertones. Aged in old oak, giving it a good depth. Organic viticulture

3) Gavi di Gavi - Giordano Lombardo - 100% Cortese with an aromatic nose of peach, lemon and white flowers. Intense minerality on the palate with concentrated citrus and almond flavours with a long dry finish. Biodynamic farming
