From Arianna Occhipinti, one of Sicily's most exciting wine makers, known for her commitment to biodynamic principles and natural winemaking. Born into a family of winemakers - her uncle Giusto Occhipinti co-founded the legendary COS estate - she has forged her own path, crafting wines that express the unique terroir of Vittoria, in southeastern Sicily. Her vineyards lie in the windswept Iblei Mountains, where ancient agricultural traditions persist. The region's reddish, iron-rich soills are lined with low stone walls, and the areas historic trade routes inspired her SP68 cuvées. Named after the Strada Provinciale 68, a road that has been used for over 3 millennia to transport wines to the coast, these wines pay homage to Sicily's enduring connection between land and people.

Arianna farms her vineyards biodynamically, believing in minimal intervention both in the vineyard and the cellar. She works with native yeasts, avoids temperature control, and does not fine or filter her wines, adding only minimal sulphur at bottling. Her approach allows each wine to develop its own identity, a philosophy rooted in both tradition and innovation.
