Nicolas Chemarin has been garnering a reputation in Paris's natural wine scene for the last many years. Going by the name of 'P'tit Grobis' or 'little bear' he is based in the high altitude village of Marchampt, a village seen by many as a future Cru of Beaujolais. He transitioned to organic wine making and viticulture when he took over from his father. His focus is to work on the character of the terroir through low intervention wine techniques.
