Max Ferd. Ritcher - Riesling

The winery is run by father and son team, Dirk and Constantin Richter. They produce classic Mosel wines which are defined by a perfect balance of delicate flavours with residual sugar and high acidity. Typically low in alcohol, few wines taste so light, delicate and pure yet have such intensity. The wines from the estate are drawn from numerous vineyards in the Mosel; the character and flavour of the wines heavily influenced by their steep vineyard sites, which are typically grey slate with varying compositions of ferruginous, mineral quartz or clay soils.
