La Tête Dans les Nuages

AMI (the French for ‘friend’) is indeed a tale of friendship. Former sommelier Paul Perarnau and wine maker Willy Roulendes, after working
together for a few years at Clos du Moulin aux Moines in Auxey-Durresses, decided to make wines of their own accord. They now own 2.5ha
in Maranges, and they buy grapes from an additional 4ha worth from like-minded friends. A non-interventionist approach, low SO2, a
judicious use of oak, an open-mind, and a daring touch gives us wines of extreme purity, fragrant and with an extreme joyful drinking feel.
